In case you haven't noticed...

  1. Don't put too much pressure on yourself, I often get frustrated trying to figure myself out and no succeeding. I look forward to your return!

  3. I find I have a major identity crisis approximately every six months or at least every year. I'll settle, then I'll change, and I've gotten to a point now where I'm realizing that that's ok. I just try to do what makes me comfortable and happy and not worry too much about what that means. Identity is fluid. It's not really worth the effort to try to pin it down.

  4. Most people struggle with this, especially high achievers. It gets easier with time, especially when you realize it's okay to just be in the present

  5. Welcome to the new world of college. Take comfort in the knowledge that everyone else is going through exactly the same thing. I'd like to share a piece of advice to you: experience anything and everything you can, and reflect on those experiences. Writing things out on this blog would definitely help :)

This exploration reminds me of another blog I read where this girl followed a magazine religiously for a month or so ;)

  6. I had a couple of the blogs I follow update far less frequently as people began their first year of college. My regular update schedule was smashed to bits as classes got into full swing, and I'm a seasoned university veteran.

In regards to finally figuring oneself out, one of the biggest reasons I hope there is an afterlife, maybe it shall be done there, but so far, no luck. As the wise AtomWize says, feel free to share with us those thoughts which do not feel to personal. After all, it's the Internet, how could it provide bad advice ;)

  7. This is going to sound a little off topic, but you're my inspiration.
I'm 13, and when I stumbled upon the Seventeen Magazine Project, I found it funny, and thought-provoking. Your opinions on various subjects fascinate me. I hope that you can still find time to share your opinions with the world! :)

  8. I get it. I'm going threw the whole teenage-to-young-adult transition myself. It would be nice to blog about this faze of your life. I'm interested.

  9. Ya same. Teenage-to-young-adult transition equals story of my life. I think you're doing a pretty good job though. You are very concerned with keeping an open mind to life. This is good. I have found personally that talking to people close to me provides great insight into the subject of "Who am I". Often family and and friends understand more about you than you understand about yourself. Good luck :)
